Kate Efimochkina is a writer and artist based in Moscow, Russia. She graduated from the Maxim Gorky Literature Institute with a degree in prose. You can see her work in bethh, Lamp Lit, Stone Circle Review, among others. She is the founder and editor of the literary journal Odd Lobster.

In her artwork, she is guided by her love of flora. She is drawn to the chaos of nature—an order that we are unable to comprehend. The absolute precision with which tangled branches grow; an asymmetrical leaf that couldn’t care less whether we find it beautiful. This is what defined her artistic style.
